Well, not fair on my part; the guy runs a strip club, but that doesn't mean that his other planned establishments are intended to be strip clubs as well.
i know you're not supposed to judge a book by its cover but that's the most awful attempt at a play on words i've seen in some time. complete with the removed "e" for urbane style. meh.
and before anyone says it, yeah tru is his "name" and blah blah blah
if someone introduces themselves to me as a "tru" without an e and tells me about their chain of businesses with a play on the tru theme, i tru-ly would projectile vomit
This may not be at the same block, but what is up with the work going on at the corner of 6th and H St.? Not the streetcar construction, but some sort of bar or something.
first of all Tru is a very respectable entrepreneur. he has come a long way to build his company and these restaurants are a side business for him. yes he has a strip club which has nothing to do with Tru Orleans. and soulsearcher (you dont see me judging your name btw which sucks lol) Tru is his name not with an e so that had no relevance here at all. This restaurant will be a hit and the money will be flowing in. enjoy!!!

Wow. I didn't realize it was the same guy. Yeah, 400 H Street would just be a restaurant. There are only so many of those licenses available.

The truth will be in the paperwork he submits to ABRA for his license. Will it be for a restaurant (CR) or a tavern (CT)?
