WUSA: Rubber Sidewalk Use to Expand

WUSA9 reports that the success of the rubber sidewalks used on stretches of Rhode Island Avenue has convince the District to look at using them more widely. Rubber sidewalks cost more, but they last longer, are healthier for trees, and when tree roots get to big, the sidewalks can be replaced with sidewalks of a different size without destroying them.
