An oldie, but a goodie. The Ohio Restaurant served up some mouth watering soul food. This shot dates from August of 2006. Less than three months later the owner, Betty Ayele, was dead. She was shot to death in Alexandria's Del Ray neighborhood. Her murder was never solved.

The murder of the Ohio Restaurant also hasn't been solved. Tonic seems to have gone from the restaurant business into the speculation business.
i wish i had gone there when you had first recommended it, inked. but i never made it.
the food and atmosphere looked fantastic.
and so sad about the murder.
the vibe in the Ohio was nice. the murder is tragic, that woman had alot going for her. the fact that it's unsolved is also tragic.
