Surprise From Above
I was walking in the 1300 block of H Street yesterday when I looked up, and had a serious "What the Hell?" moment. This is the building that was formerly home to the Majestic by Gwen. Anyone have relevant information? Thoughts?

and that's a beautiful shot of the illegally-constructed rooftop deck over Rose's Dream. That thing went up sans permits. I know, no news here, happens all the time. But, I wouldnt lean back against that lattice after a cocktail or two - unless I wanted to take a swan dive onto the 1200 block of H.

It looks to me that they are replacing the windows in the dormer and decided to place the plaster figurines on the sill just because.
