And the Winner Is...
On Monday I asked readers to tell me about their perfect day/night on H Street, and promised the winning entry two free tickets to Summer's Eve Party at Rock & Roll Hotel. The tickets go to Michael and Jamie for suggesting their ideal day/night on H Street. We had a number of fun sounding entries, but I like the specificity and all day plan of the winning entry. Thanks to all who left suggestions. Michael and Jamie, please email me (inked78 [at] hotmail.com) for details about those tickets. Here's Michael and Jamie's entry:

HSCC doesn't open until 5 pm, so their date day/night is impossible.
It was recently open early for World Cup games. There have also been other times when HSCC opened earlier than 5pm.
I’m still laughing at Sunny Florida Avenue’s entry. It was the most original and entertaining by far. I would be glad to donate a quart of Cobra for his honorable mention prize.
And it was a dream day so who cares whether the CC is usually open?
Is this party really called "Summers Eve"? Teehee.....
congrats!
Ritas before Granville's? That doesn't make sense...unless Ritas is serving margaRitas...
