Star and Shamrock with He’brew Ales “Brisket and Brews” – Join Shmaltz Brewing Company and the Irish/Jewish cuisine of the Star and Shamrock along with tasty He’Brew ales for some creative pairings.
Little Miss Whiskey’s Golden Dollar $20 for four food/beer pairings 6-8PM. Chef Adam Stein of the Queen Vic cooks it up.
Wednesday August 25th
Liberty Tree presents Smuttynose New England Beer Dinner. 4 Courses, 4 Beers $40/person
Troegs takeover at The Red and The Black. Glassware giveaway, Mad Elf in the Summer, Troegs Band, guaranteed fun. [I'm not sure the band is still happening, but they've got some great glassware to take home.]
Lagunitas night at Palace of Wonders: glassware give-a-ways, Lil Sumpin Sumpin, Dogtown Pale and Lucky 13 Imperial red

Biergarten Haus presents Reissdorf Kolsch Firkins Night With Bill Catron. 7pm

I did some google investigating to find out what exactly the biergarten haus event was. I guess the beer is reissdorf kolsch and it is being served from a firkin (a cask, which is a small keg, that isnt pumped, which is pressurized by fermenting yeast or something)
I just wanted to post some props for the Star and Shamrock event last night. The people from Schmaltz brewing (He'brew) were great and they were pouring some tasty ales. Star and Shamrock's special brisket sandwich was absurdly good; I really hope they add it to the menu. Great event all around.
we were at HSCC last night and someone won the pool table. Incredibly lucky shot
