Here are some of the photos I took during the H Street Festival. I'll post more over time, but if you have any photos you'd like to share you can add them to the Frozen Tropics Flickr pool. You can check out the rest of my festival photos here.
Outdoor cafes in the 1300 block of H.
Surveying the scene atop a jersey barrier.
Butter chicken from the Queen Vic.
DC United was on the scene, and had corn toss set up.
The mix of crowds here to check H Street combined with the renovation going on in some buildings is a potent reminder of H Street's potential.
Tommy Wells and crew had a booth, as did some candidates for ANC.
The Baltimore Rock Opera Society was a bit hit with the crowd.
And, of course, there was plenty of art...and art cars.
Biergarten Haus, like many local bars, had a full outdoor patio space.
Some employees at Biergarten Haus brought new meaning to the term "man boobs."

Yum! Love English food! ;)
The festival was great! Thanks for the photos.
I can't help but think how nice pictures like these will look once there are some trees to soften the building/horizon line...
I heard Gray eliminated funding for trees. LOL, JK.
...just west of the anocostia, JK.
