TBD reports that the CVS at Bladensburg and Maryland has an ongoing rodent problem, and suggests (they are still waiting on the official result) that that may be the reason CVS hasn't been allowed to sell food, drinks, or prescriptions. As one commenter pointed out, the infestation isn't all that surprising considering the amount of construction going on at that location. Here's hoping the CVS gets it under control soon, whatever the cause may be.

That makes sense. With all the construction I have to wonder if the Safeway also has vermin problems.
Actually it doesn't make sense. There was no construction in April when the joint was closed the first time. The place is dirty, and they don't give a damn about their customers. It's foolish to make excuses for them.
I was in CVS a couple of months ago and a woman brought back a item that she purchased that day which had mice droppings. Their response was to get another package off of the shelf. She choose to get her money back after giving them a few choice words.
