I am glad to hear about this. I have to wonder why we have all these people at MPD charged and paid well to be community out reach and they have failed to get the word out on this training. Makes me wonder how perhaps budgets could be cut with no productive people and that money added to put more police officers on the streets.

And by ``failed to get the word out'' you mean your failure to actually read any of the MPD listserves or go to a PSA meeting in which this meeting was discussed, or subscribe to the DC news feed which also posted this?
