WT: Watch H Street Growth From Condos
The Washington Times looks at the Landmark Lofts. Unfortunately, the author makes a small, but embarrassing, goof when she writes about the nightlife on H Street. She suggests that people could patronize various hotspots "including the Rock and Roll Hotel, Pap and Petey's for jazz, and the Palace of Wonders, which has a vaudeville stage." Oops, Pap and Petey's closed quite a while back, and Toyland opened up in the space in February. The article also has some random, and weird linking choices, but it's mostly about the lofts. So, whatever.

Abdo's developments over in Logan might very well have ushered in the Whole Foods, but his Landmark Lofts development has ushered in nothing but socially aloof residents that do not hang out on H Street.
I have to agree with the commenter on the article. This reads more like an advertisement than an actual article.
And those condos seem horribly overpriced to me. And I say this as a person who loves living in Senate Square.
