I'm sure new alleys in Ward 8 would benefit DC on the same scale as a citywide streetcar plan. What a joke.

It sounds like most people testified in support, though, so that's great!

Will somebody please just shoot M barry already?

Actually he has already been shot at least once. It wasn't funny then, nor is it now. What a thoughless thing to say.

I agree with Anon 11:01. Barry getting shot is what gave him the city wide popularity boost to allow him to elected Mayor in his original primary. Who would want to repeat that mistake?

Douchebag probably asked for it. He's nothing but a crook, always has been and always will be. Enough is enough get him out of there!

Maybe you should read some history before name calling. He was shot during an attempted muslim sect takeover of city hall.

By the way, HSGS notes didn't mention the Barry dismissive rude boy that got schooled by Barry at the hearing. There are fools on both sides of this issue.

Maybe Barry was joking. Lets send him a gift basket of crack.

Anon 2:02,

You are right, there are fools on both side of this issue. Unfortunately one of those fools holds elected office.

If you support the streetcars on H Street, please consider signing onto the Greater Greater Washington letter (linked below) encouraging Vince Gray to keep Harriet Tregoning and Gabe Klein as the heads of DC's Office of Planning and the District Department of Transportation.

I despise Marion Barry but a fool he is not. Crook, yes. Asshole, yes. Crack head, yes. He honestly is smarter than probably 90% of the jackasses who post on this blog. How do you think he has lasted in elected office as long as he has?

i hate when people say stupid things that make me want to defend people i would normally not have good things to say about.
