The Pug is Open for Thanksgiving

I've just been informed that the Pug will open Thanksgiving night at around 8:30 or 9pm and they'll be offering $2 wild turkey shots. 1234 H Street.

Bourbon is for sippin', not shootin'.

Wild Turkey is hardly for sippin'. That's like opening a bottle of Sutter Home wine and letting it breath before you drink it

Nice..I'll be sure to swing by. Anybody know if the country club will be open tonight?

Frank -- I couldn't possibly disagree more. Wild Turkey 101, at least, is arguably the best sippin' bourbon of any of the non-small-batch bourbons out there.

Wait, i have an idea. Go to the pug tonight and run a turkey taste test, sippin vs shooting.

sorry to poach this thread, but is Rita's closed? Did I miss that post.

It is never open when I walk the dogs by and there is a sign about sending mail to the bargber shop a couple of doors down.

They are closed for the season.

So, how'd it go last night? What's the verdict - sippin' or shootin'?
