Does anyone know what ever happened to the Park Cafe? It used to be a great date-night restaurant, though a little pricey. Then sometime a few years ago, it was almost like the owner stopped bothering to try.
I remember the last time we went, he had taken over an entire table strewn with papers and junk, and was doing paperwork at the table next to us, finishing a bottle of red wine. No wait-staff, and the food was mediocre.
Has anyone been more recently? Has it improved at all?
So ANC6A voted to support the closing of the alley behind SOVA, to give them a patio. Will they pay DC fo this land? Pay rent for it? I don't Frank owns the building so who will own the land?
oboe,
is your first name Dave?
Technically, dc owns all of the land, except for the actual footprint of your house. Yeah, if you have a front yard, they own that too.... Right up to your front door. Welcome to dc, anonymous poster with no name, or clue.
Was the issue about the alley closing on ANC 6A agenda?
