It actually opens back up Saturday, and back up for brunch on Sunday.

I went to a soft opening last night. The menu has expanded, the food was really, really good, and the place looks awesome. Well worth a visit.

Is it true that there's a family still waiting on their brunch order from before the fire, unaware of what happened, and just accustomed to that kind of wait?

Enough with the references to tacos!

They have a new kitchen, and the staff seems very competent. The service and food was delivered quickly.

I'm stoked the chicken tacos were added to the menu and my veggie friend is stoked about the tempeh. The place looks awesome and I'm glad it's back!

I can't wait!!! Hard to believe that it wasn't long ago it was the only place to sit down for a quality dinner on H Street.

went to the soft opening too, everything was great, the service was attentive, and the laid back argonaut charm is intact. they've done a phenomenal job remodeling the place and everything flows so much better than before. with all their upgrades, they'll have alot to offer. the new bar is fantastic, and the kitchen looks excellent! great to have the argo back on its feet.

I made my way there with a friend from out of town and was greeted with a perfunctory dismissal as it was "a private, soft opening".

Spare me, if you are going to keep the lights on and the doors open, don't be so arrogantly unwelcoming.

I won't be back again.

Long time Argo fan and thrilled that it has reopened. The place looks great and everyone was really friendly. Definitely some issues with orders and just getting a beer delivered to the table took repeated requests, but I'm sure that will get sorted out. But please, chef or chefs, can you just go back to the tasty onion rings of yore. The new onion rings, with honey poured over them, are disgusting.

The old onion rings had honey on them.

Maybe, but not this much damn honey. These things were dripping with it. Tasted more like donuts than onion rings.

Just had a way delicious steamed lobster! It was very tender and sweet. Love Argonault 2.0
