Starting tonight
the Pug is going to hold Oliver Ales Pint Nights. Head to the Pug for Pint Night and get pints of cask conditioned
Oliver Ales for $6. Tonight's offering is Best Bitter, and I understand there may be some free glassware involved. Oh, and the Pug will open at 11am on Monday to serve brunch.

Apparently the Pug is "ska-centric" according to the Oliver website. I dont really even know that is, except I think Sublime was always mentioned as being ska, and I liked them...
Can't say I really heard the term much since then
Dave, i was really influenced by the two tone thing from late 70's england. Wiki whatever that, come by have a shot and we'll further discuss. A whisky & a bitter? Pretty decent remedy for a cold eve.

Is it just me or is every third bar in DC now serving "real ale"? Am I dead? I'm dead, right? This is all a post-mortem hallucination. Right?
So Tony, Is this a Thursday thing, or a random thing?
it's a thursday thing, but don't worry we still sell natty bo and give out cheeze balls.

Just to clarify, I thought I'd died and gone to heaven. It's kind of like living in Mongolia and waking up one morning to find that every hut's got a smoker out front cooking up some authentic Carolina BBQ ribs.
Cask bitter *and* Cheeze Balls? I must've lived a better life than I thought. :) See you guys Thursday (if not before)...
Oboe, didn't think you were being snarky, just trying to maintain my cheap beer street cred. Don't know if you made it in, but we were finished with the keg at 1030. We are gonna do a different cask each week, so i'll be imposing on inked to let everyone know the flavor of the week.
