The Bikestation at Union Station is Hiring
Description:
Bike and Roll seeks qualified (trained) mechanic to staff the repair bay at the Union Station Bikestation (managed by Bike and Roll). This individual will work alongside the manager and support and tend to the mechanics area and the bicycle commuter facility.
1. Service and repair customer bikes.
2. Service and repair rental and tour fleet bicycles housed at Union Station location.
3. Maintain efficient work flow through the bicycle service area
4. Work with manager to prepare custom and standard orders.
5. Maintain organization and supplies in retail areas.
6. Maintain Bikestation facility according to schedules.
7. Act as a liaison to the management team conveying concerns and ideas from Bikestation members
8. Assist with daily operations of service and retail on as-needed basis
Qualifications
1. Qualified mechanic (prefer mechanic with bicycle maintenance training)
2. Works well in team environment
3. Enjoys casual work experience
4. Maintains clean and neat work area
5. Able to work with the general public and attend to customer needs.
6. Drivers License requested
7. Desire to work for a growing company
This is a full-time position.
Employee will qualify for benefits program.
Employee may qualify for bonus program.

A bicycle shop on H st would be nice...
With City Bikes coming to 8th Street SE, I think this might be a good time for Cap Hill Bikes to re-locate.
