Local blog DC Style is Real reviews Church and State. The Hill is Home also has a nice write-up. Great cocktails in a cool setting. I recommend the Sazerac.

What is the connection between Church and State and PX over in old town?? I read that some of the bartenders were "Trained by PX"...they have some of the exact drinks..and the concept is similar, minus the church part. Is there a partnership or something?
I don't think there's any affiliation with PX, I'm guessing that Josh used to work there. The "basic" menus are the same because they've got similar concepts (1920s American cocktails) but the menus are quite different when you get into the details.
