I realized that it was a random shot of the H St festival, but what are the odds of catching a shot of all white people at the H St. festival? If that's not proof that the demographics of the neighborhood are changing then I don't know what is. Whether you think that change is good or bad is irrelevant to my simple observation.
12:15, the other photos from the festival aren't all white, and it's definitely a different demographic at the festival, than in the neighborhood overall.
No reason for defense, just an observation of what I'm assuming is a random photo of events. I mean the photographer didn't stage the photo to have all white people so how strange is it that the photo would have all white people (especially at the H St Festival). And is that not sybolic of a changing H St? Doubt you could have gotten a photo with all white people 5 yrs ago.

Does anybody else love that Birdland sign, even in its current state? I hope whoever moves in there one day keeps the sign and maybe makes it work
yeah I've always thought that birdland sign was incredible.
I also always liked Stan's Discount Clothing sign.
Everybody in the picture is white.

It's just a photo snapped during the H Street Festival.
