WTOP: Witness Testifies in 2008 Robinson Murder Case
WTOP details the testimony of government witness Kenneth Williams against five defendants in the murder of unarmed 13 year old Alonzo Robinson. Robinson was in town from Atlanta visiting his grandmother who has cancer. Williams and his friends drove up and opened fire randomly on Robinson and his relatives. They also drove around randomly shooting others, all of whom survived the attacks. Defense attorneys sought, unsuccessfully, to prevent Williams from testifying. they argued that his testimony was unreliable due to heavy drug use, and a history of hearing voices.
