As the winter weather begins to retreat, two major exhibitions, one at the Brentwood Arts Exchange and one at G Fine art, close this weekend. While the camellias, daffodils and cherry blossoms announce the spring, Studio H opens its first show of the year and Art Whino will begin a monthly festival at the Yards Park .
Saturday, April 2
At the Brentwood Arts Exchange, artist Alonzo Davis will read from his new book of art and poetry from 2pm to 4pm. This will also be your last chance to view the exhibition Resonant Forms. The Brentwood Arts Exchange at the Gateway Arts Center is located just over Eastern Avenue at 3901 Rhode Island Avenue in Brentwood , MD
Today is the last day to view Local artist Linn Meyers’ The Adjacent Possible at G Fine Art. Gallery Hours are 12pm to 6pm on Saturdays. G Fine Art is located at 1350 Florida Ave, NE
From 6pm to 9pm Studio H opens their first exhibition of 2011 entitled Mannequin by world renown Ecuadorian artist Pablo Caviedes. Studio H is located at 408 H Street NE, second floor.
Sunday, April 3
