Please attend to learn more about the Ivy City and Trinidad Neighborhood Stabilization Initiative and to share your experiences in and opinions on your neighborhood.

The DC Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD) and the National Community Reinvestment Coalition (NCRC) seek resident input to develop a comprehensive strategy in the Ivy City and Trinidad neighborhoods to:
-IMPROVE ACCESS TO AFFORDABLE HOUSING
-INCREASE COMMERCIAL DEVELOPMENT AND EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES
-DEVELOP A COMPREHENSIVE VISION FOR COMMUNITY REDEVELOPMENT

Quality meeting today. City and National Community Redevelopment Corp. have $9.5 million to put toward Trinidad-Ivy City initiatives.
It was a good opportunity to make suggestions for ways to improve the neighborhood, and I would encourage people to email and call to give them more feedback.
