No Fermentation Without Representation
Smith Commons (1245 H Street) celebrates American Craft Beer Week with an impressive line-up. Details after the jump.
In a place where a taxpaying citizen can’t get full representation in Congress, it is possible to get some pretty amazing American Crafted Beer. In the name of equal representation and delicious beer, Smith Commons is leading the charge for the celebration of the trailblazing brewers and the products they make, for American Craft Beer Week, (#ACBW) May 16 – 22, 2011.
With the motto “No Fermentation Without Representation,” Smith Commons takes a heartedly non-partisan approach to American Craft Beer Week, welcoming every man and every woman to the dining room and public house to join in the celebration. For the week, politics will be put aside and instead, a great selection of delicious, chilled frothy pints in its place, representing the best of American Craft brews. All events will be held at the restaurant.
Featured beer selections will be only $5, and in the evening you'll also be able to enjoy a special small plate food pairing for $5. All featured selection will be available in the main dining room, as well as at all bars. Regular happy hour specials will also be available. All events are free of a cover charge, but some may require pre-registration).
