NoMA Farmers Market Starts 6/1
NoMA welcomes a new Wednesday afternoon/evening farmers market to the area. All goods are locally owned or produced. Every Wednesday (June 1st-October 26th) from 3-7pm. 1200 First Street NE. This market is managed by Metro Green Markets.

This new farmers' market is being organized (at least in part) by Donnee (sp?) who did a lot of work with H Street Fresh Farms. Apparently a lot of the Saturday H Street farmers will also be at NoMa on Wednesdays.

Does anyone have info on the large police presence yesterday afternoon at FL and Trinidad? I over heard someone say someone died. Homicide maybe?

A body was removed from a house in a body bag. There was no DC Alert so that would suggest natural causes, but I don't know.

FYI: The NoMa Farmers Market opening will be postponed a week because there is a power outage in the neighborhood. Gotta love Pepco...
