Work with Youth in a Rehabilitation Facility
When: Tuesday, May 24th, 6:30pm-8pm
Where: Department of Youth Rehabilitation Services, 1000 Mount Olivet Road NE, DC
What: This is a detention facility for youth waiting for arraignment and sentencing. They need volunteers to help keep them up beat and busy! This meeting is a brainstorming/planning meeting about potential volunteer projects at the center. Come with ideas! Appropriate for people with group volunteer needs.

Help Lead a Trinidad Neighborhood Clean Up of Bladensburg Road and Florida Ave
When: Saturday, July 16th
Where: Bladensburg Road and Florida Avenue
What: This is a project being spearheaded by ANC Commissioner Tina Laskaris, Danielle Bays of the Trinidad Neighborhood Association, and Greater DC Cares. We are looking for other residents interested in helping organize this event.
