The City Paper runs a story on a patron suing Layla Lounge (501 Morse Street) for allegedly tasing/shocking (possibly with a stun gun) her three times. Leah Davis, who stands 4'11", says a 6'3" bouncer shocked her three times in the neck without good cause. She's now complaining to ABRA and filing papers in court. Non-police are prohibited from possessing either stun guns, or tasers in the District. The club maintains that their security guards did not have either. Davis' suit seeks $1 million. Reportedly there may be a cell phone video of the incident out there somewhere.

Shocking!!
sounds very messed up.
the bouncer was just trying to introduce her to the joys of electro-stimulation. He should have gotten some advice from the Swann Street Crew before trying it out. Amateur.
