Eater: Chef Ian Reeves Comes to Queen Vic

DSC_0036

Eater announces that Chef Ian Reeves will replace Chef Adam Stein at local British gastropub the Queen Vic (1206 H Street). Stein resigned late last week. No word yet on where he's headed. According to Eater, Reves was most recently employed at London's The Bull and Last. Based on the menu there, it looks like he'll be a fine fit.

Pretty sure this is Reeves in an audition video for Top Chef.

good double use of the honorific "chef". Such a weighty title and all

Good deal. I hope this works out for everyone. The Queen Vic menu is awesome. Had the burger last Saturday and was not disappointed. My friend said the Fish and Chips were the best he has had anywhere. I'm sure they'll keep up the menu and add some new dishes.

Great news! I'm sure the food will stay as fantastic as ever. Best of luck to both Chef Adam and Chef Ian.

Oh wow. this guy is probably a great chef and all, but why didn't any of his friends or family tell him how stiff his audition video was?

I know, is he auditioning for TV or pallbearer?

I actually don't think his audition tape was that bad, looks like he would have been a good contestant. Obviously that omelet was lacking in the presentation of a typical Top Chef dish, but I'm sure it was just a sample. I think what I like the most is the ironic moustache. Well done, sir. You look like you were made for H Street.

if that doesn't scream quality, i don't know what does...
well wishes for all involved.

He might look stiff on camera, but he is kinda cute with that accent and all.

Can't wait to try the menu!

I have eaten at The Bull and Last in London, the food was fabulous. Look at the reviews in the London newspapers. Hope to enjoy Chef Ian's food at home in the US.
