Late Night Search Leads to Robbery Suspect
A number of people wrote in to ask about a prolonged helicopter search late last night (early this morning). I didn't have an answer, and could only hazard a guess that they were searching for a robbery suspect. It turns out that this was actually the case. The search went on for more than an hour in the area near 13th and Maryland, before ending in the capture of the suspect.

It had been a long time since a good ol' helicopter chase!
holy crap I was pissed last night..I kept thinking the search was over..then it would come back. Glad they caught him.

It was on 13 and Fst not Maryland Ave, they were searching in the alleys mainly for what they said were two suspects of a robbery.
I was walking my dog on 13th st 11:00 - 11:30pm.

the stuff I saw all said 13th & MD for the robbery. It's really only a half block difference.
Chopper was overhead at Holbrook and Morse, low enough to shake the house.
