I mentioned before that they recently had tables and chairs set up inside Pho Bar and Grill (1360 H Street), and now Thrillist reports that they are running a soft opening this weekend.

Man, whoever writes these things for Thrillist is terrible. This is almost worse than the Shafawal write up. Very excited for Pho though.
Please please please, let the broth be not muddy, not too salty, and taste of beef, a little anise and a little ginger. And please have ngo gai with your rao thom. Please please please please.
two or four lines (depending on how you count and they are already dropping racial slurs). as a caucasoid i am highly offended by the use of the term "round eye".
/sarcasm, but seriously, unintended racism is hilarious

Agreed. The article is a bit lưỡi in cheek. Still, I can't wait to receive the gospel of some bible tripe.
THANK YOU for saying that. I have always found their writing to be like nails on a chalkboard.
But YAY for Pho on H st. Just in time for fall.

dt: Thanks for fetching the menu.
Selfishly, I hope that's just the menu they've planned for their opening and will be changed in future months.
