Introducing Truckstop at Fruit Bat

Truckstop is a collaboration between Fruit Bat (1236 H Street), which slings Latin inspired cocktails, and local food trucks. Each Friday and Saturday a local food truck will take over the kitchen at Fruit Bat. From 7pm until 2am (possibly as late as 5am, if there is a demonstrated demand) the food truck team will serve up their signature fare. First up is Grid's Waffles (March 30-31st, and April 6-7th), followed by Hot People Food (April 13-14th, 20-21st, and 27-28th). Grid's serves all manner of concoctions featuring waffles, and Hot People's menu looks Asian inspired. Come by and enjoy the food and drink, and a DJ provides the beats.
