From MPD:
Wednesday night just before midnight, Fifth District officers were called to the 1000 block of 16th St., NE, for a man unconscious in the alley. When they arrived they found a 36 year old who had was suffering trauma to the body.
The man was taken to a hospital and pronounced dead. This case is being investigated as a homicide by the MPD.

Thank you for posting this. Peanut was a neighbor of mine. It's really disturbing to think that something this terrible can happen, without anyone sharing information with the police.
It's very sad that people aren't saying anything, it's also disappointing that a man's death is fodder for silly jokes.
snitches get a nicer neighborhood thats safer for kids to grow up in so they have a better chance of having a decent life.
