If you need an excuse to stop by Union Market (1309 5th Street NE) this week, you've got it. They are holding a toy drive for My Sister's Place. My Sister's Place DC runs an emergency shelter, and a variety of other programs for battered women and their children. To donate, drop off a new and unwrapped toy at one of the bins located inside the Market. Here are Union Market's new (expanded) hours: WED-FRI 11-8, SAT-SUN 8-8. Toys must be in by December 14th.
