Smith Commons has a three course dinner menu priced at $60 per person, or you can hang out in the public house (no cover) and enjoy a dj, passed hors d’oeuvres, a special cocktail menu, and a complimentary champagne toast at midnight. Smith Commons is located at 1245 H Street.
H Street Country Club is selling NYE party tickets for $75 a pop. That gets you open bar (rail, wine, Jeremiah Weed Vodka) from 9pm-2am, a dj, champagne toast at midnight, and some hors d'oeuvres.

Hi inked, just forwarded one of the multiple versions of the email, the only one I received -- others bought the tickets.

They just said it was "unforeseen circumstances."
I just got an update that HR-57's closure is due to heating problems. That's unconfirmed.
Thanks to this post my wife and I had an early dinner at Le Grenier and it was great. Any appetizer, entree, and dessert for $36 plus a cocktail.
