Oxbow Beer Dinner at Granville's 12/10
Granville's(1238 H Street) is hosting another one of its popular beer dinners. Expect this event to sell out.
It’s been a while since we’ve done one of our raucous beer dinners upstairs in the bar, so we thought we’d ring in the holiday season with some delicious beers from Oxbow Brewery out of Newcastle, Maine. They’re an American Farmhouse Brewery, specializing in small batches of traditional Belgian-style farmhouse beers with contemporary American influence in a renovated barn. We’re an American “gastropub” with a fetish for Belgian-style and craft beers creating small batches of moules in a tiny little kitchen in a renovated doctor’s office.
It’s a match (or pairing) made for each other, but we hope you’ll come try it for yourself!
Here’s the official culinary lineup:
Farmhouse Pale Ale
Beet Chips with Spicy Nuts and Caramelized Onion Ranch Dressing
Loretta
Prosciutto and Crab Purses
Barrel-Aged Farmhouse
Half Warm Water Lobster Tail, Yams, Sweet Butter and Exotic Mushrooms
Freestyle 11
Game Stew with Roasted Root Vegetables and Wild Rice
2011/2012 Blended Oktoberfest
Taleggio and Fried Cricket Quesadilla with Brandied Cherry Sauce
$55 per person, plus tax & gratuity. Reserve your spot before they’re all gone by calling us at 202.399.2546.
