Chef Ian Reeves is leaving H Street's venerable British pub the Queen Vic (1206 H Street) effective January 6th. Reeves will reportedly head to the Columbia Heights location of Red Rocks Pizzeria before returning to helm the kitchen at their planned H Street Corridor restaurant (1348 H Street).
Did the prices go up on the items that carried over? I don't remember what they were before; but I don't think fish and chips or bangers and mash were $16 (incl. tax) before, were they?
The upstairs bartender there is rude and slow. I think his name is Joe. He tells patrons to hurry up or wait based on his schedule. If I go in there and see him and know that I'm gonna have to deal with him I walk right out. The owner or manager should pay more attention to how he talks to customers.

What happened to chef Ian? I loved his menu!
The Queen Vic's an awesome spot. The Turnbull DCs Scooter Club keep many of their scooter rally awards at the Queen Vic.
Drama!

I wonder what Shelly's take on the new menu will be.

that chick in the picture is hot.
that is all.
Those light bulbs look like breasts
only to people who have purchased fleshlights, bro. Keep on keepin' on.
If the Queen Vic is a pub, why won't they serve "real ale"? No excuse in the year 2013. There are plenty of local sources for english-style cask ale.
Could you please get one it? All this "food" stuff is ancillary.
