A Hemingway Cocktail Seminar at Union Market Tomorrow
Union Market (1309 5th Street) is hosting a pretty cool sounding event tomorrow from 6:30-8pm. Like cocktails? Like Hemingway? Perfect!
Union Market and Philip Greene are cohosting “To Have and Have Another." Philip Greene is a member of The Museum of the American Cocktail and author of the newly released book “To Have and Have Another – A Hemingway Cocktail Companion.”
Explore the drinks that Hemingway enjoyed, spiced with biographical tidbits, anecdotes, history of the drinks and the bars, and other folklore. Samples of Hemingway’s legendary cocktails will be served along with delicious appetizers. Mixologist and Buffalo & Bergen owner, Gina Chersevani will be mixing cocktails for the event. Signed copies of Mr. Greene’s book are included in the admission price. Proceeds will benefit The Museum of the American Cocktail.
Tickets can be purchased in advance for $35 or at the door for $40. More info here.

This sold out several days ago. But he's doing it again in a couple of weeks at the Shaw library, to benefit DC Public Libraries.
