They have held one ticketed preview dinner (reviews were positive), and plan to have another one soon. But I haven't had a chance to try any of their offerings since they closed the pop up Tacos Impala stand. So I was pretty excited when I spotted some preview photos online. My favorite H Street vaporware: Joe's Coal & Ice, with Vendetta as a runner up.
Vendetta even had artwork in the windowfront during the H Street Festival a few years ago; but apparently now is dead.
Dude, this place is gonna be awesome. The guy spent entire WEEKS researching food in Mexico!
