Trinidad Pepsi Machine Sold Malt Liquor
Wow, apparently I missed a hell of a Trinidad Neighborhood Association meeting last night. A reader alerted me to a DCist post in which they followed up on a tweet sent from the meeting stating that MPD had identified a Pepsi vending machine in the neighborhood that was actually selling malt liquor instead of sodas. The price was $3, and no one has claimed the machine. Who says community meetings are boring?

Surprise!
Dang! That is enterprising, find a need and serve it. Somewhere there is probably it's sister, a ciggy vending machine.
$3 for what I'm assuming is a 12 ounce can? Gentrification is everywhare? What was it? Belgian? And what is the difference between malt liquor and beer?
lemme get ona dem HURRICAAAAAANES!
Only in Trinidad

No, I don't live in the hood, not at all
put some vacuum sealed used panties in one of the slots and it's like I'm back in Yokohama, mama!
But, seriously; anyone got some used panties I can have?
LOL, I have purchased soda from this machine. (50 cent) Pepsi and Mountain Dews. Never knew it sold beer. LOL
Slow claps for the entrepreneurial spirit with no proper direction--but I do appreciate the attempt. Go get 'em kids. There is always a story to take a dinner party from this neighborhood!
I like how people are acting like this is so ghetto or something. Some friends of mine had a machine set up like this in their house in college.
Also, as another commenter mentioned go to Japan they are everywhere.
Relax...
Yes, this is just like Tokyo.
I had a kegerator in college. This is not like that.
