Celebrate Earth Day at Union Market
Got plans Sunday? If not, Union Market (1309 5th Street NE) has this going on from 10am-4pm:
Celebrate Earth Day with Union Market!
Eco Art + Design Depot: Join us for a day of eco-conscious art and design, featuring a pop-up marketplace of local vendors and interactive workshops led by teaching artists dedicated to inspiring “creative reuse” and environmentally sustainable behavior. Design workshops include creating recycled seed starting pots and recycled fabric flowers. Learn more about the vendors, artists, and workshops here.
Seedling Giveaway: For every purchase you make at Union Market on Sunday, April 21, get a seedling to take home and plant. Sponsored by Buffalo & Bergen!
Vendor Sustainability Practices: At Union Market, all of our vendors have local, sustainable practices. Look around the Market for more information on our sustainability practices or find out more at: www.Facebook.com/UnionMarketDC

I miss the old, stinky, fly ridden Florida market. It made me feel like a true gentrified. Now I just feel like gentrifornicator. How I yearn for the good old days....
True *gentrifier. Damned iPad!
