A look at what's going on in Trinidad, on H Street, and in the larger area north of Capitol Hill.

Pics from Sunday's Trinidad Garden Tour
Every year we have a little tour of Trinidad Gardens. It's an opportunity to meet new neighbors, socialize with those you already know, and see what's growing around Trinidad. Here are some of my photos from the event last Sunday.
The initial tour group (it would grow & shrink throughout the day) at Tony's.
Neighbors enjoyed a little food & drink before heading out.
Cone flowers attracted a few bees.
Check out this cool planter made from an old pallet.
Some participants were just getting started with their gardens, while others had been at it for years.
Some gardened in large yards, and others in containers.
We even scoped out a couple of guerrilla gardening projects.
A good time was had by all as we exchanged many gardening tips, and even a few plant cuttings.
You can see the rest of my photos from that day here.

Well, well, well, look who brought back anonymous commenting. Perhaps it's the commenters who bring this blog it's readership. You're welcome.
Finally! There will be something *awesome* to read here again.
I live just one block south of Florida Ave but would love to participate in this garden tour. Any idea on how we can hear about it before the event next year? I must have missed the posting this year.
5:56,
Here's the organizer's email address. Anyone can go on the tour, but I think your garden has to actually be in Trinidad to be on the tour.
