The Princess Bride at NoMa Summer Screen Tomorrow


The Princess Bride is playing at NoMa Summer Screen on Wednesday, June 5. Inconceivable?! No, this is happening. Come out to the Loree Grand Field at Second and L Streets, NE to connect with friends, coworkers, and family under the stars. Bring a picnic, cooler, Frisbee, blanket, and your friendly (leashed) dog. As you wish, TaKorean, The Big Cheese, Popped! Republic, and Goodies Frozen Ice Cream & Custard will all be serving up your favorite culinary delights. The fun starts at 7 p.m and the film starts at sunset. All movies are screened with subtitles. Rhythm in NoMa Lunchtime Concerts Begin Friday, June 7 at Union Center Plaza
DC local Johnny Artis will play the first Rhythm in NoMa lunchtime concert of the season with his fantastic R&B band. Enjoy this concert, your summer Fridays, and the courtyard at Union Center Plaza (810-840 First Street, NE) from 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. every Friday from June 7 through August 2 (NO CONCERT on July 5). First Rhythm in NoMa Evening Concert: Free Brews, Excellent Tunes, Great Kick-Off
NoMa's first evening concert of the year kicked-off on Thursday, May 30. DC local Johnny Artis sang some fantastic tunes with his R&B band to a packed crowd. Friends, neighbors, and coworkers enjoyed free libations from Union Kitchen and NoMa BID to celebrate the first evening concert of the summer, at its new location at the Union Kitchen Lot, at Third and L Streets, NE.
