Today brings further evidence as to exactly how close we are to the streetcar running on H Street. Work is starting on the midline power substation (that odd looking boxy thing next to Khan's patio). Work will take place weekdays between 7am and 7pm, and should go on for about two months. While they are taking steps to minimize disruptions to neighbors and businesses, we will see a sidewalk closure. You also won't be able to park on the street adjacent to the work zone during the weekday. Read more about the midline power substation here.
