Union Market Rolls Out New Lunchtime Shuttle Service

DSC_0016

Do you work in NoMa, or Near Northeast? If so, you might be interested in the Roadie. The Roadie is the new shuttle that runs to and from Union Market (1309 5th Street) Wednesday-Friday from 11am-2pm. Will you use this free shuttle that runs every 20 minutes? See the map after the jump.

Oh no, it's not a food court.

Will they be selling road sodas? Could be a haul from stop 2. Although, you should probably just walk from there

This is a great idea.Call it what you want (food court). This Market will continue to pull people from other parts of the city.Keep up the good work.

It's a shame they can't drop just a few blocks further south to scoop up all the folks around Union Station (or heck, even the Capitol Complex!) who might be interested in a Union Market lunch...it doesn't seem impossible to do a larger loop within that 20-minute cycle...

I would gladly wait at a bus stop for 20 minutes during my lunch hour to get to this luxury food court!

I'm not interested in roadies that don't smell of hashish and sell PB&J sandwiches out of the back of a van.

Who the hell works at 2nd and L other than the tranny hookers? If this shuttle actually went to a place people worked, it might be useful.

Isn't the DC Office of Supervisory Services a block off thought route on K St? Perfect! I can go see my P.O. and have lunch at a fancy food court!

If I had a choice of food courts, I would choose this particular farm-to-table food court over all the others!!!
