Weekend East City Event Round Up: Brookland Ascendant Edition
Art Enables
(1pm to 4pm)
A nationwide call for entry yields one of the
nation’s largest showing of insider art in a single location. In its eighth year, Art Enables’ Outsider Art Inside the Beltway mixed-media
juried group exhibition represents one of the most significant collections of
the genre both in terms of its scope and variety. For

Do
not miss the opening of Catalyst Projects’ art gallery in the Brookland Art
Walk. The inaugural group show’s sexily
titled Wet Dreams explores
untraditional methods of using watercolor, a medium often taken less seriously
by students, curators and collectors alike.
