FotoNoMa Show Runs Nov. 2-10
Starting this weekend, FotoDC is proud to present FotoNOMA: The District Experience, the official satellite location of FotoWeek’s central National Geographic location. Don’t miss the opening reception Saturday, November 2
, from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM at 51 N Street, NE, with an after-party at the Black Cat! FotoNOMA will feature 25,000 SF of exhibitions from a diverse group of photo organizations including: APA|DC, Critical Exposure, Empty Stretch presented by Indie Photobook Library, Galerie Blue Square, InstantDC, The International League of Conservation Photographers (ILCP), The Pulitzer Center, Silvercore Photography, STRATA Collective, Washington School of Photography, and Women Photojournalists of Washington (WPOW). The 9-day exhibition will take place at 51 N Street, NE in space generously provided by The JBG Companies.
Opening Party Details: Hardy's award-winning BBQ food truck will be on-site to serve BBQ chicken, beef, and pork sandwiches and soft tacos. Don't forget the coleslaw! Refreshments included in ticket price. RSVP: http://fotonoma2013. eventbrite.com
In addition to the opening reception, an after-show party and slideshow with DJs Matt Liberation Dunn and The Kaiser is being hosted by the Black Cat at their backstage area starting at 10pm.
