Update on KIPP DC at the Old Webb School Site
I was contacted by the Principal of the KIPP DC Northeast Academy. He wants to introduce himself, & to invite the community to learn more abut KIPP DC's programs at the site.
"I am a resident of NE DC and have been a casual reader of Frozen Tropics over the past couple of years. Last year, KIPP DC leased the former site of Webb Elementary on Trinidad’s north side (on Mt. Olivet Road). This year, we opened our early childhood school (Connect Academy) and our elementary school (Spring Academy) and this summer I will open our middle school (Northeast Academy) on that site."
"[E]nrollment begins on 12/16 this year for most public charter schools via myschooldc.org."
"Our first open house is next Tuesday, 12/17 at 5:30 pm. For the 2014 school year, we are enrolling Prekindergarten 3 & 4 year-olds, Kindergarten, 1st grade, 5th grade, and 6th grade students at our Webb campus schools."

Ladies and gentlemen, friends and enemies I'm not impolite and i didn't want to exclude anyone. The sum of the parts is equal to the total. Their are role models that are positive, people to be imitated and emulated. You would also have negative types that you avoid and reject. This is indeed what we hope would be an area ascending the incline. Not a community on the delcine, decaying, deteriorating I am a former resident of near northeast humbly I ask you walk slow and carry a headache stick.A minority area that was so well maintained later restored after an horrendous scourge with niether side gaining creating an resultant that was left open by such horrible infighting
