I'm not sure when this occurred, but a reader sent in this photo of what appears to be an intentionally smashed glass door at Rita's (1014 H Street). I believe they were still closed for the off season, but they typically reopen around the beginning of March (I see 2/28 listed on their website).

2. Someone who does something like that intentionally doesn't deserve nice things anyway. Unfortunately, as you imply, they also wreck it for everyone else.
Rita's is nice.

Sorry, I was just being a goof. I've been in there twice, and both times were pretty bad experiences. But both were also in the first two months they were open, and that was quite a while ago; so maybe things are better now.
I bet you that some shadowy figures are responsible.
They're just probably really excited about the summer. Let's just call this a case of boys will be boys!
