May 22nd Soft Opening Planned for Halftime Sports Bar

The first of three planned sports bars will open its doors to the public on May 22nd. Halftime Sports Bar (1427 H Street) comes to us via Karl Graham, who also owns The Elroy (1423 H Street). I wrote about the bar before, and this brief from the Washington City Paper has some interesting details on what should set Halftime apart from its peers.

    Awesome. So a sports bar with Cîroc and Belvedere specials and $5 HH Miller Lites? Can't wait.

    i have to agree with h st II, it's better than an empty bldg.

    what's that saying? you can please some of the people some of the time, but not every ding dong all of the time?

    The Elroy actually has some of the better specials on H St., so hopefully that will also be the case here.
