Jazz in the Hood Returns (Now with a Pop-Up Shop)

Gallery O on H's (1354 H Street) popular Jazz in the Hood series is back. It's part of the DC Jazz Festival. The event is part live music performance (7-10:30pm) & part pop-up boutique (4-10:30pm).

    It's definitely not a bar. They host a lot of fun events focused on music, performance, and community. Alcohol is present, but I would say it is more of an after thought. I mean, would you consider the H Street Festival to be a bar?

    If only it was a really a place for jazz. It's been pretty much a dead space with a few vanity events every now and then.
