Danny Todd's Brings Breakfast All Day To Late Risers And Late Partiers
Formerly Chef Corner Cafe, Danny Todd's (802 13th St) is a great spot on 13th St, just north of H, to get breakfast any time of day. The decor is pretty awesome. Has anyone stopped by to try Danny Todd's yet?
we went to try it out during the farmer's market to see if their rebranding has changed the food. the exterior space if really good and the interior looks nice as well. Sadly, the coffee was really weak. i asked for milk and was handed a jug from the fridge that was crusty and the milk it contained was sour. there was no sugar out, only the blue packets. when I asked for fresh milk, the guy handed me a gallon jug from the fridge. they had been open for an hour so I was not getting there too early. we both had the egg and cheese sandwich. not bad. American cheese and egg folded onto two lightly grilled slices of thick bread. I will go again to see if their coffee gets better. but the location is SO perfect to make some $ during the market hours if only they get their act together. while I was there two different couples came in and asked for decaf. they said they were out. sigh...
Is this the same place but with just a different name? I certainly hope not because Chef Corner Cafe was no bueno. I went once with my roommate to try it out. Nothing crazy just a bacon egg and cheese. Well, you'd think I had order a pouched quail egg. Whomever was manning the register was either blazed out of their face or had a learning disability. He asked me to repeat my order four times. I also had to help him give me back the correct change. To top it off, one of those twisty tie things ended up in my sandwich. Yum. Besides, with Tony's Breakfast, Tony's Place, and Denny's all serving all day breakfast, I think the neighborhood has hit its capacity. Good luck.

The lack of apostrophes makes me mad.
Looks good to me; will have to hit it up.

They have a good go go band out there right now.
Coffee was fifty cents with free refills today. I'm not picky with my coffee so it tasted good to me. Service was good.
First I'm even hearing of this place. How did this place just open and it was never mentioned before?
7:23,
There was another place in the space before & they had placed a closed for renovations sign in the window.
