The Star & Shamrock (1341 H Street) has teamed up with the Miner Elementary Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) to raise money for a great cause. Full details below:
MINER NIGHT AT STAR & SHAMROCK
Tuesday, October 21st and Tuesday, October 28th from 5:00pm, onward, Star & Shamrock Tavern and Deli will host Miner Night. Come out and support Miner students! Simply tell your server that you are there to support Miner Elementary and 10% of your bill will go to the school to support classrooms, special programs, and unique opportunities for the kids. Also, help to spread the word. The more people we have there, the more money we'll raise!

This is a great way for the community to get involved in helping to strengthen one of our local, neighborhood schools! Also, if there are any prospective parents out there, get a jump on the school open house season and talk up Miner parents and PTO members!
